Conference program for firetalks + poster presentations

  1. Participants present firetalks for the SAC on Wednesday 31 August at 15:00 : 17:30
    1. Participants should bring a presentation and a poster
    2. Participants can bring information material
  2. -night between 31 and 1 July -
  3. Participants are invited to setup a poster in the designated area of the conference (next to the main conference room)
    1. the intended audience during the largest part of the day are health-professionals that visit the symposium
      1. after 15:00 families are expected to arrive, they could walk by; be aware to check the badge
    2. the chair of the day should be informed about the poster process
  4. start of the symposium
  5. first coffee-tea break of symposium (approx 10:15, so be ready prior to the break)
    1. Host will invite the guests to visit the poster area 
    2. Poster presentators are expected to be with the poster to answer questions or handout the information material
  6. Lunch break (11:45 : 12:45)
    1. Host will invite the guests to visit the poster area early in the lunch period or late in the lunch break
    2. Poster presentators are expected to be with the poster to answer questions or handout the information material
  7. second coffee-tea break of symposium(will be very short) (starting approx 15:15, so be ready prior to the break)
    1. Host will invite the guests to visit the poster area
    2. Poster presentators are expected to be with the poster to answer questions or handout the information 
  8. meet and greet of the symposium (starting approx 16:30, so be ready prior to the break)
    1. Host will invite the guests to visit the poster area 
    2. Poster presentators are expected to be with the poster to answer questions or handout the information 
  9. -night between 1 July and 2 July -
    1. the intended audience are families, the presenters are expected to change their language and information accordingly, avoid complex medical terms and abbreviations, switch to popular language understandable by laymen.
    2. the chair of the day should be informed about the poster process
