Sleep

For parents, caregivers, health care providers, and teachers, concerns and questions often arise regarding the care and well-being of individuals with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome.

Sleep-related difficulties are very common in CdLS and can begin as early as infancy. Difficulties can include insomnia (difficulty falling and/or staying asleep), apnoea (breathing temporarily stops during sleep), daytime drowsiness and frequent daytime napping.
